The gutting of the ESA will have devastating results for Ontario’s species at risk. I am deeply afraid of what this would mean for the species that I have spent years working with and restoring to their natural habitat. We need to move in the direction of more protection, not less. The proposed changes to the ESA would send species decline into freefall.
