I strongly oppose this bill! The way to a prosperous economy for Ontario is not through our sacred, protected, and dwindling wetlands, short hills, forests, beaches, and waters. Environmental protections cause delays for good reason! To protect what little untouched habitats and wildlife we have left. We must ensure stronger environmental protections in the beginning of this climate crisis, so that we will live to see the end of it. That is the only way. We will not survive. We will not survive if we continue to destroy the natural habitats. The economy is not what we breathe, it is not what we drink or eat, it is not life. Destroying the environment in the name of "economic growth" will not save us. Economic growth cannot save us if we are destroying everything around us. What Ontarians need right now is support from the government with sustainable ways to survive this trade war. This includes adequate funding for healthcare and social services to ease the load on our wallets. We are all living paycheck to paycheck while you elites sit in legislative assembly and debate away our rights, our lives, and our environment. Tax billionaires and profits on massive corporations in Ontario and put that money back into the people that make Ontario work. That is the only way. We will not survive without our environment or our rights.
