This new Act appears to give developers the right to wipe out protected species all over Ontario. Shame on you all for coming up with such a shortsighted proposal which will put all our beloved wildlife in danger of extinction. Do none of you have children or grandchildren who will have to live in a world without nature? Why will there be no protection for migratory birds? Will politicians not be happy until every square inch of this Province has been paved over? We don't need to build at warp speed which will eliminate thoughtful consideration to our wildlife. Why should we have to fight to protect our waterfront, our green belt, our natural habitats? Give yourselves a shake and think harder about your legacy and the impact you're having on our future generations. If you destroy it all today there will be nothing left for future politicians to destroy. Let's expand wildlife and habitat protection instead of eliminating it.
