I am an elder living in East York. I strongly oppose Bill five, which has the misleading title, protect Ontario by unleashing our economy act. I urge you to repeal it now.

The bill is extremely undemocratic and favours unregulated development over the health of land, water, and wildlife in a time of worsening climate change. It bypasses local input and input from indigenous leaders.

Whether you like it or not the health of the land, water, and wildlife is not separate from economic health. Repeal Bill five now!
