This proposal is shortsighted and foolish. We need our forests, wetlands and wild places to mitigate the effects of climate change and related flooding, and to provide habitat for the species we share this province with. The government of Ontario continues to break environmental protections for water, wildlife and human health, ignoring experts and public opinion, and giving itself power it should not have.

The province already weakened our conservation authorities. Now it's trying to neuter the Endangered Species Act. Do people not understand? Biodiversity is important for our collective long-term wellbeing. The ecosystem that we are part of is one big interconnected network. Indigenous opinions should be heard and heeded!

I am completely AGAINST this greedy, selfish, ignorant proposal.
