I am deeply concerned about the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act. We cannot weakens environmental laws to address short-term economic concerns as it will only weaken our environment and society in the long-term. Thoughtful and fulsome review of environmental and Indigenous concerns are needed. We will not have a string economy in the long-term if we dint also take steps to protect the environment.
