Bill 5 falls short in…

Bill 5 falls short in protecting ontario’s species at risk. Bill 5’s change to the definition of habitat is very concerning to me, as there are many areas that species at risk need to partake in important behaviours that go beyond what is outlined under Bill 5’s new definition of habitat. Additionally, I am concerned how this Bill will affect Indigenous rights and duty to consult. Although I believe investing in Ontario is important, I do not think this bill is in the best interest of Ontarians.
