I am a life long resident of Ontario and am against this bill. It will do immeasurable harm to our environment, and to ourselves as we need the environment to live. Especially at this crucial point of irreversible climate change we cannot be pulling back environmental protections. Using “economy” as a reason to override environmental protections is abhorrent as well as plain wrong as what “economy” do we have a on a burning planet? Preserving habitats has priceless value for citizens. Bill 5 is terrifying and must not be passed.
