I am writing to urge your government not to change the Endangered Species Act as proposed in Bill 5. The wildlife and natural areas of our province need more protection, not less. Projects that destroy their habitat will make it almost impossible to bring these species back. There are numerous projects and infrastructure improvements that can be built in areas that won't harm our vulnerable biodiversity. Please don't bulldoze over Ontario as a kneejerk reaction to tariffs.
