I'm writing to indicate that's I DO NOT support bill 5. This is simply gutting environmental protections that we must have or else we risk species collapse. While I write this from an environmental perspective trying to protect our already fragile ecosystem, financially this does not many ANY sense either. Without a healthy environment we will not have an economy. How do you expect to make any money long term if there is no environment to support it. You note in the bill that there will be support for voluntary protection measures....but why not just keep in place mandatory protections instead? This is such a waste of time creating this bill. For the love of god please do not push this bill through.
