These restrictions exist for a reason. Many endangered species are in Ontario and are key parts of our ecosystems. If we remove protections on them, then it could lead to the collapse of our ecosystem and worsen climate change even more than it already is. This threatens our very existence. But also, climate changes bad for business. If your goal is to be good for business, you have to be fighting climate change, not encouraging it. This bill should absolutely not go through and protections for endangered species should be increased, not reduced.
