I am deeply concerned by the review of the Endangered Species Act (ESA), which has been a gold standard in managing species at risk legislation. The proposed changes will adversely impact the intent of the act and will further erode the protections put in place. Weakening this act will allow private industry to override these protections and adversely affect the delicate balanced environment we should be celebrating and promoting. Please do not allow these changes to occur and continue to uphold the original intent of this critically important act.
