Protecting ecological diversity means protecting our future. If you want to make the burdensome processes faster, please invest in them. They are good and necessary. Educate and hire more people. Poach them from failing agencies in the states.

Please understand our relationship to this ecology. Remember that our industry is bringing about a global change that will see much of the world's woodlands transition into savannahs within the next 300 years. Coupled with rising sea levels the shock this is going to cause on all societies on Earth will be enormous.

We need as much information as possible going into this transition and destroying natural habitats for species that may never return is a loss that must not be taken lightly.
