Oppose the reduction in 'harass' language in the proposed act and the reduction in definitions of where and what is protected (only near animal dwellings e.t.c) and the reduction in protections for migratory birds and marine life.

Ontario and the GTA needs to build up rather than out and/or entice people to move from the GTA to other less populated areas and not promote urban sprawl which destroys habitats for species at risk - urban sprawl also destroys quality of life for residents. No one should think a 1 hour commute is reasonable and we don't need infrastructure to support this.
