Hello. Tonight I just finished watching free Willy with my family. By the end of the movie everyone was crying, it reminded me just how one can dismiss a animal as a just a thing that exists in the world and one doesn’t see why to try and protect them, when one could ignore them and just try to please who one thinks needs pleasing. Humans. Humans are so much like other animals, even some more humbling creatures like pigs or cows. We need to protect them as to protect ourselves. It is really truly hard to imagine our kids and grandkids growing up only to know some animals and for the rest to be extinct. That’s why we have to fight for protection of wild animals, not for us but for who comes after us.
