The proposed changes to this bill are ill-advised, irresponsible and downright shameful. The PC party has no interest in protecting Ontario's natural treasures which are directly linked to our ability to live healthy and happy lives. This is a money grab for Doug Ford alone. To use the terms 'complicated' and 'takes too long' directly reflects the intentions of the actions to come. Pushing Ontario's economy forward at the expensive of it's native endangered residents is underhanded and will only serve to fail us in the near future. To know that long-time conservative voters have either regretted their decision to vote for him (or the PC) or have changed who they vote for is a blatant wake-up call of who the PC party has chosen to be and how it does not reflect what the people of Ontario want. The conservative party was meant to conserve resources, not to sell and degrade and ruin. Doug Ford's proposal to crush the Endangered Species Act serves only himself, takes lives of non-human residents who were here long before we were, diminishes the health and quality of life of human Ontario residents and sets us back in this critical point in our planets' history. He is a downright embarrassment and I will fight this to the day I die.
