As someone in the conservation field, I know that passing this bill will be catastrophic for Ontario’s wildlife and will destroy protections for species at risk. There is no scenario in which economic growth can be worth destroying the precious biodiversity of our province. I urge you to rethink this bill and to not let it pass. This issue is incredibly important to many Ontario residents including myself, and the potential impacts cannot be undone.
