I and my family live and own property on Concession 4NDR less than 2 km from the Walker Redford gravel pit at 381769 Concession 4NDR. We are deeply disturbed regarding Walkers permit to take water (ERO # 025-0587).

This has a very high potential to adversely affect the quality of water in our house water well, if up to 7.9 million litres of water can be used and dumped back into the local water table/Saugeen River, every day, for a period of 10 years.

This proposed water taking is a Category 3 permit, anticipated to have the highest potential of causing unacceptable impact or interference. Therefore this application requires much more detailed environmental impact studies and detailed consultation with surrounding landowners before any rulings are made.

Also, the Walker Redford gravel pit does not have an operating permit to allow for operation 24hrs/day x 365 days/year, so it is inappropriate to apply for a taking water permit allowing 24hrs/day x 365 days/year.

In closing, this proposed water taking permit should NOT be approved.
