How is it even possible that a Category 3 permit can proceed without full notification to landowners that will be impacted and without a public process? Water is a semi-renewable resource. We cannot take at will, without proper controls and expect it to renew itself. And we must balance the needs of all those that use a specific water area. This permit will have negative impacts yet there is no proper disclosure of what the impacts will be and how they might be mitigated. I ask that this be delayed and properly debated in a public forum. As is, this appears to be corporate interests over public good. We need to do better, now.
