I strongly disagree with…

I strongly disagree with this petition for a permit to allow water extraction submitted by Walker Aggregates and ask the Ministry to disallow the activities requested in this permit. Water is our most precious resource. It is a necessity for all life, for humans, animals, insects, and plant life. Basically the whole of the environment.

The mismanagement of our water resource poses immense threats to our local well-being - both human well-being and the envioronment.

As per the usual of the Municipality of West Grey, our council encourages profits to big business over preservation of our critical resources. I ask the Ministry of the Enviroment to uphold their mandate and fulfill their calling as stewards of the environment so we can see our tax dollars working for a change.
