The proposed increase in water taking for the Strada quarry is an affront to all residents of our community. There is no guarantee that our water quality/quantity won't be affected and Strada doesn't seem to care. Real people with real lives live in the Melancthon community, however this is an issue for all Ontario's as this is the Headwaters for the Pine, Boyne and Grand river and all its tributaries serving communities and farms from downstream of the quarry site. The government must REFUSE Stradas outrageous request to take over 6million litres of water per day.
