I strongly disagree with this proposal as an engineer with experience in both stormwater management and urban planning. The diversity of terrain in the province does not lend itself to standardized GDS. Dictating GDS will have increasingly disastrous consequences as storm events become more unpredictable and severe. With this bill we would be limiting municipal capacities to adapt and create more liveable environments that are resilient in the future. Please reconsider this.
