Biking is extremely efficient, eco friendly and easy. Bike lanes are essential for the safety of bikers and to help reduce traffic and carbon emissions.
I hate that we are such a car dependent society, it is inefficient, terrible for the environment and creates terrible traffic.
To be frank, when going around Toronto, the biking route is often FASTER than driving, which goes to show how inefficient driving is. Cars take up so much space, especially in an already tight space like Toronto, thus bikes and bike lanes are the best way of travelling.
