I do not support this bill…

I do not support this bill. I am concerned for cyclist safety and provincial government overreach into municipal affairs. I do not believe that this bill will have positive environmental impacts as claimed through reducing congestion. Promoting cycling and other forms of active transit is a more effective way to curb transportation related emissions and has the added benefit of supporting Ontarians' health. I ask the Provincial government to reconsider this bill and instead invest into public transit systems as a way to reduce congestion within cities.
