This bill will do incredible harm to tenants and working Canadians. It will make housing even less affordable and lead to greater abuses by landlords than we are already seeing in Ontario. It is irresponsible to attempt to solve an affordability crisis by giving landlords greater tools to evict tenants, while reducing the tools tenants have to fight for their rights. If tenants are easier to evict then rents will be easier to raise.
