I am on the residents association in my area. I have witnessed first hand the frustrations developers have faced because of a massive amount of red tape. I agree improvements are needed. However, I have also witnessed development constructed that was designed for investors and the cost to our community. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. This new legislation will definitely hit the fast button. But it is not smart. There is nothing smart about it. Fast without smart equals poor infrastructure and planning and 23000 vacant apartments and a housing crisis at the same time.
