Please, as this proposal is reviewed, consider how many comments you have received in favour of this development. By all indications, the Town of Oakville, its elected Councillors and the public are opposed to the exceptional density contained within this proposal. Furthermore, studies are showing that there is little, if any, demand for the type of housing proposed. Is there support from any quarter for this development beyond the developer itself?
Oakville can, and will, meet its growth targets as mandated by the Province. It can do so in a way that enhances the Community, avoids gridlock and responds to market demand.
I lend my voice to the thousands of other Oakville residents who are saying "Stop the TOC development proposal now. Allow the the Midtown Oakville proposal put forward by the Town to proceed"
