Oakville is not fearful of growth, but it is adverse to growth that is not well thought out. Adding 11 condominium buildings in an area that is already over congested by traffic is irresponsible.
There has been very little adjustment made to the plans by the developer. Any revisions made are minor and do not address the concerns of the citizens. We have not been heard.
We have supported the Ford government in almost all decisions, but we cannot support this poorly developed plan. It will affect our votes in the next election if there is no meaningful change done on this proposal.
