Little or no thought has been given about easy access in an d out of the area which is highly likely to be gridlocked most of the day. There is no planning for easy connection such as pedestrian and cycle bridges over the QEW so that the shopping mall on the North side can be safely connected. This will also provide new possibilities for building one or two towers on the North side of Leighland Ave as well as easier access to schools and safer access to the GO station for residents living on the North side. Realistically there is room to build one or two towers near the station as long as pedestrian links over the QEW and Trafalgar Road to easily and safely access the shopping areas and there is adequate parking. It would then become much more safe and attractive to reside in the area.

It is high time thought was given to the issues mentioned above before permitting development. Otherwise the area will be a nightmare to navigate or even reside in.
