The provinces plan allows for far too many units to be place in an area with little transit and, given the geography, no chance for there to be appropriate transit. Oakville has not been designed for this level of density and this will just lead to extreme congestion. This is better suited to large cities that actually have offices and places for people to work...aka Toronto. It is clear that this proposal was made by someone with 0 connection to the area, all of the issues with this proposal are immediately obvious to any resident of Oakville. Moving forward with this will ensure I will never vote for Doug Ford or the conservatives considering the massive overstep of their powers.
