As a nearby resident in Oakville to this development in Midtown Oakville. I am extremely concerned for the intense densification that would overstrain all infrastructure and resources in the area.

An example of where this sort of extreme intensification of condo development is in Woodbridge. Despite the Viva rapid bus line and nearby subway stations deeming a transit oriented community. When trying to drive from one end of Woodbridge on HWY 7 to another. It takes at least 4x as long as it previously did.

Many friends that live in the area are trying to get out of the area and move north.

My family paid a high premium to purchase in a desirable Oakville neighborhood and midtown development at this extreme level not only will negatively impact my property value and the quality of life that Oakville provides for residents but will also cause structural and social challenges.

Developer interest is clearly being prioritized under the guise of adding housing supply without proper consideration for the impact on current residents and community.

When the town leadership and and residents all vehemently oppose the plan under its current construct, the provincial government should take notice.

I strongly reject this development as a taxpayer and home owner in Oakville and urge the ministry and associated departments reviewing this file to refine the plan to mandate lower density condo development.
