This proposal by the Ford government is not taking into account the existing congestion and traffic in the area. It takes us longer to drive home from the Oakville GO station than it does to get from Clarkson to Oakville on the GO train. This proposal was already overridden by the local municipality, then why is it necessary for the Ford government to intervene? Definitely NOT with the best interests of Oakville residents in mind. Please do not go ahead with this plan as it will mean so much chaos, congestion, pollution, traffic to our beautiful town.
