This development will be a traffic / community disaster for Oakville. There is absolutely no way you put that many people into such a small area and expect to still be able to drive around the vicinity in any sort of timely manner. Oakville is not a walkable city - the amount of additional traffic this will bring will be a nightmare for commuters and city dwellers. This development will also completely destroy the sense of community in south Oakville is known for - a place many people have chosen to live because it’s not full of high rise condos. I’m not sure who’s benefiting from this, but it’s definitely not anyone in the city of Oakville.
