I truly don't understand why…

I truly don't understand why the plan is for 11 huge towers of condos (!) when the GTA condo market is in free fall. We don't need thousands more tiny skyboxes, we need liveable options beyond this starter condo mentality - more family-friendly and community-focused options. The current model of condo development in the GTA is unsustainable and failing - why would we keep adding more of the same cheap condo towers like the ones standing half-empty across the GTA? Just so the province can claim they've added more housing units? This proposal is irresponsible and ill-conceived.
