I wanted to comment against the proposed development. The access roads in the area of the sites considered are already jammed as you try to access to Go Station in the morning or afternoon rush hours. Imagine what a nightmare would be when there are 11 high-rise building are added to the mix. I would invite the minister of infrastructure and transportation to try any of the streets in and around sites one, two and three, Trafalgar Rd along Cornwall and Cross avenue during rush hours to realize what is the current state of traffic in the area before the proposed new development.
Also the population and density added into the area will pretty much destroy the town as we know it. I wonder if there are any considerations for the need for grocery stores, school, hospitals and recreational facilities as the new 6500 residential units are proposed in this new development.
This is very concerning for the local offices and residential areas in proximity of the sites considered.
