I have been a resident in the Town of Oakville all my life. Oakville IS and has always been a well planned community in which to live. No one in Oakville is opposed to development. The town has grown over the years, in a well planned procedure of our elected town councillors and mass public input to how we want our town to grow.
The Oakville Mid Town Development is not a well thought out or realistic plan. The population density is ridiculous and exceeds the highest population density in Hong Kong and New York City. This is not good planning. I urge the ERO to stop this development and allow the Oakville's Planning Department to override the TOC plan. It is only common sense.
