These MZOs would force extreme and reckless density on Midtown. They simply do not make sense. The roads do not have the capacity to hold the traffic suggested by this density nor does the QEW or the GO train.
We elected a municipal government for a reason. The provincial government is overstepping and simply should not be taking on this role. A plan has been put in place by the municipal government that is in full compliance with the provincial policies.
The only benefactor to the Ontario government’s plan is the developer who will construct and leave a mess behind.
