I have serious concerns about this proposal. My property is located in Ward 3 and within 4 km of the proposed development. During peak hours, traffic is already bumper-to-bumper. If these towers are built, congestion will become a serious problem for everyone in the area.
Our neighbourhood is a quiet, safe, and beautiful community. The scale of these towers will damage the peace and character of the area. In addition, existing facilities are not prepared for such a large increase in population. Essential infrastructure—including shopping, schools, daycare, and healthcare services—must be properly planned, developed, and funded before any high-density development moves forward.
I urge the Ministry to reject these MZOs and work with the Town of Oakville to ensure development is properly paced, infrastructure-ready, and respectful of the existing community.
