I believe that our current roads cannot accommodate the current heavy truck traffic it sees let alone extra traffic. Too many accidents involving heavy trucks in our area increase due to the increased quarries productions. I have notice excessive amounts of debris left on the roadways causing damage to mine and other vehicles from these trucks hauling aggregate and other materials. The impact of contaminated soil is unknown and will potentially cause water contamination. I know certain regulations are in place for soil contamination but too many fraudulent reports can and are made to avoid the approved process of contaminated soil. I believe this will not benefit the local area at all. I believe it will cause more accidents, contamination and damage to the local ecosystem.
