A huge part of what makes Oakville charming is its size - which used to be small. While all things grow and evolve, going through with the mega buildings that are proposed removes a significant part of the essence of Oakville. Mississauga has completely lost this due to its massive size and density - letting this happen to our home is upsetting. There are SO many other places to develop in Ontario, why target areas that are already sufficiently dense?
The infrastructure in place will not support or sustain this massive development, decreasing the value and livability of our home, forcing surrounding homeowners to leave, decreasing the overall value of the area and potentially increasing crime.
The manipulation of the zoning orders is practically a crime in itself.
Don't do this to our town!
