I do not support this proposal and the manner in which it appears to be imposed on the town of Oakville. The MZOs have been used to override municipal zoning, and some parts of the project do not even include the provision of water and wastewater to the proposed sites. These are just two examples of highly questionable decisions. As the projects now face foreseeable and significant delays , these delays beg the question of why MZOs were used in the first place.

The fact that the MZOs have been used on a project of this magnitude within a small community is an absolute insult to taxpayers and residents. This dysfunctional planning process will forever change the core of the town of Oakville, and the residents will have to live with the fallout forever. Please immediately stop this ill conceived and poorly planned project now.
