We have lived in Oakville for over 75 years ( my wife and myself ) In the fifties the Town was small and everybody knew at least someone when walking through downtown. This has changed of course with a posted population of 214,000 now The area for consideration is already a traffic jam waiting to happen everyday . The Town has presented a reasonable proposal for this part of Oakville to grow in a reasonable fashion as opposed to what is being presented by our Ontario Government . Common sense has to dictate the course of action taken.
As long time residents we strongly oppose the Government's vision and strongly back the route The Town of Oakville is following for infill .
