I have been a home owner at the corner of Bur Brook and Cordukes road for 35 yrs. In that time we have experienced near collisions with trucks while walking and riding our bikes. This road is not designed to have large trucks travelling on it. lf two trucks pass at the same time while you are walking or riding you are forced into the ditch.
The dust, noise and volume of traffic has increased considerably over the years and you never get used to it. Try sleeping when trucks are down shifting for the stop sign at Cordukes and Bur Brook at 4 in the morning. We don't have air conditioning so our windows are open.
You can have all the scientific data you want about our wells not being affected by the blasting but its happened elsewhere in this city and it can happen again. lf my well runs dry then my investment is worth nothing. Who is going to compensate me for that?
Please please please do not grant this approval for an expansion.
