We purchased our property on Jeffrey Lake seven years ago.  Since then, we have learned about the purity of the water, in that many cottagers draw directly from the lake for their drinking water.  We have a well that is 187 feet deep from which we get clear, odorless, and abundant water.  We also are proud of the fact that our lake, as well as three others in the proposed quarry boundaries, are designated spring fed and sustained aquatic life.

The beauty and serenity of our lake is undeniably unique in Ontario, and to have that beauty and serenity disturbed by noise, dust, and the threat of harm to our water supply is an abomination.

Please consider these comments as an objection to the quarry proposal.
