As a Concerned Citizen I put forward that the proposed cement plant is too close the the Ottawa River and that the polluted water discharged from it will find its way into the local water systems and ultimately into the Ottawa River. As a Concerned Property Owner and Resident I'm concerned about the safety of the wells from which I and my neighbours get our water. The proposed location for this plant is not suitable due to the potential risk to the sensitive ecology, the major industry (agriculture) and the health of the residents of the area. It is much more prudent to be proactive and to prevent a serious problem, than to deal with the results afterwards. I am counting on the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change do their duty to protect our environment and by doing so live up to the mandate given it by the people of Canada. PLEASE DENY THIS PROPOSAL
