I wish it express my total…

I wish it express my total opposition to this proposed cement plant. I grew up listening to the logs falling off the conveyor at the pulp mill in Hawkesbury Ont. and smelling the rotton egg smell from the lagoons that are only being cleaned up today after decades. Today I live where I can sometimes hear the Ivaco rolling mill at night or see the brown rusty smoke rising into the sky on a calm fall day. On really cold nights in the winter with a north wind I can smell the paper mill in Thurso Qc. And the highway 50 in Qc. With the mountains behind it we can always hear the motorcycles or heavy trucks using their "jake brakes" on the hills. I accept these things they where here (or planned in the highway 50 case) before I was. But enough is enough!!! This plant will bring only bring water, air, soil, and light pollution to this area. Legislation will be broken. Accidents will happen. Guidelines will be ignored.fines will be levied paid and considered as the cost of doing business. In the end few will profit and many will suffer. Stop this project before it's too late. P.S. Two weeks ago the city of Ottawa dumped almost 60 million Litres of untreated sewage into the Ottawa river during a rain storm. That's not supposed to happen either. Enough is enough!!!
