I am deeply concerned and even alarmed that we are allowing Dufferin Aggregates access to some of the purest water on the planet. I feel that the Ministry should put protections in place and not renew their license to take water from this aquifer! We need to protect and defend this aquifer as an environmental treasure and not allowing industry or water-bottlers to use it for industrial or commercial purposes. Clean water is a human right. And our grandchildren and great grandchildren have the right to this water. In addition, as someone who doesn't live in the area in question.
