After moving here and then personally driving around the country side to see exactly what these below water gravel pit digs entail, I was dismayed to see so many abandoned, non usable water filled gravel pits. Hearing the news how other parts of the world are now lacking drinking, or any water,because they thought below water level gravel pits were not a problem. Now - no water - let alone no drinkable water. This proposed 10 year lease - on a world renown water for its purity - lets keep Canada this way. Lets keep Canada with pure drinking water - and water for all the other uses. Other countries just wish they had this. Please reconsider and don't renew any gravel pit digging in this unique pure water!
