Temporary Storage:
why is there a limit of 2500m3 for stockpile? - On large infrastructure and development projects, this volume is too small. There should be no limit of excess soil stockpiling as long as the soil within each stockpile is of similar quality, and as long as the stockpile prevents any environmental adverse effects.
Why must the owner of a temporary soil storage sites be the Project leader or public body? - as a QP, could I be an owner of a temporary soil storage site and provide a service to the construction industry?
