I sent in comment for the secondary plan and feel the broad perspective of this proposal is quite challenging with regard to expertise in all areas requesting involvement. I have reviewed the towns response and agree with many of their comments. I agree we should be a recreational beach park working with the town to enhance tourism and provide quality visitation experiences for the public. In order to accomplish that more capital would need to be provided from the province and managed more like a municipal park with suitable services. Setting a visitation goal each year so that improvements can be made. Beach maintenance is my pet peeve from one end to the other it's all one beach and should be treated with respect. It's who we are!
I feel there is more I can offer however I have some time constraints as well as technical support. I hope this comment is of some support and value.
